Helmut ¶

A wizened and venerable (by wizard standards) old man and one-time member of the Archmage's inner circle. A duel with an upstart young punk left him barely capable of tossing out a magic missile - much less bending reality to his will. Magic, like muscles, recover much faster than it grows to new heights and he was deadset on regaining a lifetime's worth of magical power within a few years.

He traveled with the Campaign 1 party to foil the plot of Katarina and the Diabolist. His most important accomplishments were restarting the Brass Womb, whose constructs he considers his children, and vaporizing Katarina with his favorite spell Helmut's Hadronic Hammer (which attacks on a molecular level).
