Golems

Mechanically, as Forgeborn in the Heroes' Handbook, page 46. The Adv. Feat Mechanically Efficient gives you resistance to Poison and Fire, instead of Poison and Necrotic.

Golems are produced by The Factory every once in a blue moon. The circumstances surrounding their creation is mysterious and unknown. There are only a handful of them extant in the Dragon Empire.

A Golem appears as a statue that can move, perhaps made of marble or granite, often with fantastic inlays and filigree. The shape and size varies, and is often related to its purpose.

Every Golem is made for a purpose, and until its purpose is fulfilled, may never die. While a Golem can be broken and shattered, its pieces will -- given time -- recollect and rejoin, forming the unbroken whole anew.

In stark contrast to the soulless Clockworks, Golems do have souls. In fact, each Golem has four of them. Golems often find themselves inhabiting the role of shamans, druids, priests, and wise men, depending in some way upon their four-fold composition.
